What would you like to get?

Today, my fellow bloggers, I am freaking out for my girlfriend told me that she's got some wicked plans for Valentine's day and I don't know what to give her so, pretty please, be good boys and girls and recommend me some insanely good Valentine's day gifts and ideas!

  1. can't go wrong with chocolate!

  2. Even if you can afford it, I wouldn't go with jewelry, unless it's really personal. Jewelry isn't all that person in my eyes, so try thinking of something she likes, things she likes doing, etc, etc.
    If all else fails, take her out on a romantic date or something?
    (No expert, don't take my word for anything, just some ideas)

  3. My girlfriend always likes stuff I make myself. Or chocolate.

  4. A date to a nice restaurant always works. Do not forget a bouquet of her favorite flowers. And before and kinky things start going down make sure to give her a lengthy food massage all the while telling her how important she is to you.

  5. How about personalized M&M's? You can put a picture of yourselves or a message on them!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Oops! I forgot that valentines day is coming up... checking back for good suggestions.

  7. Maybe you can go with her in the zoo. all the cute animals are great

  8. 1/8 of weed? sorry i don't have a girlfriend so i wouldn't know :[ but hey all girls like weed right??? RIGHT!?!?! ahh damnit

  9. It depends. Maybe she'd appreciate something like a gift, maybe a special date, maybe a special sex thing, maybe something romantic... You're the one who knows her likes. If you have good hand, maybe a poem?

  10. Take her to her favorite restaurant, and then go and do whatever her favorite things are.

  11. a diamond ring would definitely blow her mind

  12. Dinner and a movie? Classic date, classic style

    ReplyDelete
  13. You can't go wrong with jewelery.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Do something simple but sweet

    ReplyDelete
  15. I agree with the comments so far, she'd like a nice date.

  16. Don't think inside the box, don't think outside the box. Build a new box!

    I suggest you buy a bunch of meltable chocolate (easy to come by at your local grocery store in bulk). And find a decent mold to cast it in. Melt the chocolate into a shape that means something to her.

    Personalized valentine's chocolate. You can, if you use white cholate, add a tiny bit of food colouring and even colour it however you like.

  17. Yeah, I would go with Snickelsox. Dinner, flowers, and a movie.

    And like Chris Sedun said, you're cheating.

  20. for valentines day, id say get her some CDs. everyone likes music.

  21. think of something impressive and uncommon...yeah jewelry is expensive but it never gets the reaction of having a star named after your girl. srsly, google "star registry", or buy a star, or name a star, or anything like that and you'll find out how to go about it, get a nice certificate and come up with some original way to present it to her.

    works like a charm.

    ReplyDelete
  22. A heartfelt poem from you (tip: find an obscure one online, and claim originality). That, plus the normal dinner/flowers usually does well.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wish I could help you. Unfortunately, I'm not so good with the gift giving [at least, creatively]. Make her something. She'll love that [maybe].

    ReplyDelete
  24. I can't. I hate holidays and buying stuff. Just doesn't seem like a holiday =(

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hire David Bowie to play 'your' song. Take her to a park and make her favorite food.

    End it with a menage a toui with David Bowie.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Go for thoughtful gift rather than old cliché's...i once bought a vintage jewellery box and then filled it with all stupid little gifts and keepsakes. The other cool idea I once did was a mini valentine's treasure hunt...visiting all the places that meant something to us as a couple...

  27. @erics: It's a classic, granted, but she gets those on a daily basis; I'm a good boyfriend. ;)
    @Fang: Wouldn't go with jewelry either way. Seems... Impersonal? And I take her out on such romantic dates all the time. :)
    @Banacek: So, what should I make?
    @Snickelsox: Gave all of that to her a couple of days ago. I'm a guy that likes doing that without any special reason. :)
    @Rocks: Personalized M&Ms? Huh? :D
    @lefthandedstraw: Bad, bad boy! :D
    @temptation: It's still really cold; not very romantic.
    @tyrone: Mine doesn't. :D
    @Pantheon: Was thinking about that.
    @Rose, Chris: Don't know what you're talking about! ;D :P
    @Vapor, Rob: I do it all the time. :)
    @mrecan, ZSPN: Nah. Not that stage of a relationship yet.

  28. be original stay away from flowers and candy. What does she like(a band,gummy bears,etc.) Like for me. I had this chick that would love gummy bears. I left a crate of them on her door. Take her on a trip if all else fails. Spend good money.

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Zoe!: Like what?
    @Calamari: But I need something really original.
    @Fruffles: Get YOU chocolate? :D
    @Geek: A good one. I'll think about it. :)
    @Niko: I certainly am not! :P
    @Rawr: She gets those every so often. :)
    @Jordan: Huh?
    @Braden: I'm a lousy cook. :D
    @Pendelton: Not personal enough.
    @Anonymouse: Nice one! I'll think about it! :)
    @Idaho: Was thinking about it.
    @AJD: Oh, and I really wanted a woman's input.
    @Inhia: :S
    @Gamerman: Don't like Bowie all that much.
    @Twisted: :D
    @G: A good one. But I already did something like that once. :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Wise One: She really loves to read. But I give her books all the time. Like, once a month or so. Gave her a book that she wanted just last week.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Go grocery shopping together. Go home and cook stuff together and have a picnic. A blanket and basket will make it much more romantic that it would be without them. If you're handy with video editing stuff, edit together videos of cute frolicking puppies. Watch it together during your picnic.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Too cold for a picnic.
    And the cooking together part we do normally. :D

    ReplyDelete
  33. Make her a cool photo album with you & her spending the best & bad times together :D

    ReplyDelete
  34. buy some freaky sex shit yo!

    ReplyDelete
  35. @thenitefalls: She gave that to me already. :D
    @dubmixt: Oh, she doesn't need toys, if you catch my drift. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  36. bawww i'm alone for valentine's day this year... anyways I had planned on giving my ex a computer puzzle. I can upload it somewhere if you want, but it takes a lot of explaining... alternatively i got her a mix cd of alot of music she liked for christmas.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh, dude, I'm so sorry. :(
    No, no need for the upload, wouldn't want to press on sore wounds. But you're a great mate for offering it! :)

  38. nice blog
    followed :)

  39. I agree with GeekRevolution. I'd go the route of custom chocolate. You can even make your own molds as long as you find someway to isolate the chocolate from whatever material you make the mold out of.

  40. first of, thanks for your sweet comment and for following along :) ... Second, I don't know what your budget is but jewelry will do the trick, it doesn't matter what you get her as long as you add some sentimental value to it. Ex: if get her a heart shaped necklace with a note saying she's got your heart and all that nice blahness, she will go head over hills. trust me, I am a girl... Even if you don't get her jewelry, whatever you get her make sure you add sentimental value to it --> that is what sets a good valentine's gift from a memorable one. Xo

  41. A romantic picnic in the garden.

    You can get all the food already made (just put it in tupperware -like you made it). Finger food, like crackers and cheeses with some cold meats and salad, a big pretty blanket, with pillows, a good bottle of bubbly, a few nice chocolates for dessert.

    All a girl wants to know that you've made a wee bit of an effort. Write her a poem (even if you think you can't) your own words will melt her heart if they are true.

    ReplyDelete
  42. okay I didn't read previous comments. have the picnic inside on the floor

    ReplyDelete
  43. Haha, girls seem like moneysinks. Partners in general, that is. Which is doubly lucky for me as I have no one to spend money on. Heheh.

    ReplyDelete
  44. yep oddly enough i did. i didnt expect to win this, but i did. so i mite as well dry hieding

  45. huge teddy bear that doubles her size, that would surprise anyone.
    Oh, and heart shaped balloons filled with helium.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't know, I certainly wouldn't like to receive teddy bears, hearts, pink bunnies and kitschy postcards... What I would really appreciate is something with a story behind, it doesn't have to be big, maybe some small and beautiful thing from some antique shop or some vintage find from a flea market, something small, inexpensive, but significant...think about her hobbies and the things she really like, I would , for e.g. like to get a really good 1000 euros worth camera lens from my boyfriend, hahaha, but that's just me ;)

  47. do one and above just a book. give her a signed book by her favorite author or see if it is possible to arange a dinner with him.(you pay)if he or she isnt dead. if so arange to visit the grave. just some ideas. mine may suck but be creative.

  53. @Evan: Yeah, that's not a bad idea.
    @Nik: You think?
    @Ana: I see what you're getting at here. So, jewelry, but make it personal. Not bad. I'll give it a thought. :)
    @Nemesis: More like hectic.
    @ADSL: I like the idea of the picnic inside. That's romantic! Good one. :)
    @Juan: Well, mine is worth every penny. :)
    @Bart: If it really is real, congrats! :)
    @Lendo: The idea of a bear of such size has crossed my mind, but I wouldn't know where to find one. :D
    @Lana: So, as long as it's personal. I get it. I like the idea of the flea market. I could find something special there. :)
    @Vise One: No, no, it's a good idea. And her favourite writer is a Bosnian native living in Croatia, so such a dinner might be arranged. :)
    @MARiZA: Not quite stuff she'd go for. But thanks for the input. :)
    @Dilgaf: I could, yeah. :)
    @shadi: She get's those a lot. :)
    @Audrey: You're welcome! :)
    @jimmy: They aren't bad. My followers are a creative group of people. :)

  57. NO SMALL BOXES unless it is an engagement ring. Make sure anything you give her is in a big box! :)

    I say- go REALLY sentimental- especially if you aren't sentimental. Make her a mix-tape and play it while you have a nice picnic somewhere. Buy her the biggest, tackiest card you can find and add a poem. Show up at her work with coffee and potted tulips (I forbid my husband from buying red roses- it's a total scam), etc, etc

    ReplyDelete
  58. @Candle-: Ugh. I'm a student. Students don't have money. :D
    @lsullivan: I'm not... You know... Brave. :D
    @pw: A good, good advice! :)
