Pink October

I don't know if you knew this but October is, in fact, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month so, people, make it pink and make it count; let's fight this thing together.

I didn't really notice this earlier but yesterday was, believe it or not, my 99th post; guess what! ;)

Aces

Two long weeks have passed and, today, I finally got the results of my exam: aced it! :)

Push ups

Lately (well, for about a week now), I've been giving this 100 push ups program a shot and now, at the end of my week one (it's a six weeks program), I feel I can say that I'm, in fact, pretty satisfied; 100, here I come! :)

Language help!

As some of you may (or may not) know, I'm always looking for ways to improve myself. A good way to do such a thing is to learn new languages.
I noticed that most of my followers speak fluent English but have some other mother tongue.

So, what I'd like you to do is to tell me how I could learn your native language on- line. I don't have much spare cash at the moment to pay for foreign language classes and, in all honesty, I think that's something one can learn using alternative sources.

So, if you know any good links that could help me learn your language, post away; I'm especially interested in French, German, Spanish and Italian. :)

Love and Other Drugs

As suggested by many of my followers (in comments to this post), I went on and saw Love and Other Drugs and, well, three things: this is not your regular boy meets girl comedy (actually, I'd say it's a dramedy), I have the biggest crush on Anne Hathaway and the movie itself is not half bad; worth a watch.

To buy, or not to buy?

I'd love to hear your say in this: is there a chance that a vinyl record player worth about 50 bucks (new, from a shop, not second hand and never used) is any good?

So sorry... -.-'

Dear friends, I'm so sorry for not posting much (or anything, for that matter) this week but I'm having *huge* connection problems; sorting it out. -.-'

Oscar Wilde

I just saw Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest at the local theatre and, lemme say, it's by far the best Saturday evening I've had in a long time. :)

Blisters -.-'

Not long after I started running each day, I realized that most of my footwear is really uncomfortable; buying proper running shoes today.

I don't like them apples. :(

I'm just gonna say this out loud: I think that Steve Jobs faked his death.

(just in case I'm wrong: Steve, rock in peace :'()

Google loves Croatia! :)

So, I'm Croatian.
Some of you may know this, some of you don't.
But, yeah, I'm Croatian.

Anyhow, yesterday was Croatian Independence Day. The 20th one. :)
And, apparently, Google thought it was a big enough deal to honour Croatia with the following when going to the google.com.

(that's Croatian coat of arms right there! :))

So, dear people of Google, thank you for all the support; I hope you know that Croatia loves you back. :)

Drinking tonight! :)

If you take a good close look, you'll notice that my last drunk post was about a month ago; my liver is gonna suffer tonight. ;D

Fur free!

Speaking of life- altering moments, I got rid of my beard (and my moustache) half an hour ago and, wouldn't you know it, there was a chin hiding in there somewhere. :D

(this is Jim Carrey in Me, Myself & Irene; what a chin!)

Blogger Virtual Zombie Walk Event! :)

Roses are red,
Zombies are green,
They'll eat your brain
And a bit of your spleen.
 by: me

Just in case you thougt I lost my mind: no, I did no such thing.

There is this thing called Blogger Virtual Zombie Walk. And I'm participating.
It is a nice little way of showing all of the lonely zombies out there that they're not alone. So, if you happen to see a zombie any time soon, please, do give him a hug and show him some love.

So, to quote the lovely Sharon of autumnforestghosthunter@blogspot:

Welcome to our annual Blogger Virtual Zombie Walk. This event makes it possible for you to have a day of reading zombie-related posts nonstop. Just click your way down the list of links at the bottom of each post and go from blog to blog for a huge variety of zombie-related fun including giveaways, art, short stories, reviews, short films and other surprises! This is our way of telling bloggers that October is coming tomorrow and we are totally stoked!
