I don't have a facebook account either, its useless they just want all your data without giving back anything. I like google more, love google, would give em all my data ;P
Mo, what kind of data? Idk i live in a social square filled with FB-ers and i wouldn't know how to contact them without facebook... fck it i love google too :/
I've deleted mine about a week a go, horrible privacy problems. Your account will never be deleted by the way, every post that has been commented on will be accesible to the ones that commented and their friends. It will never dissapear.
I haven't deleted mine but I was never that into it either. I basically use it to keep up with my sister who lived 200 miles away and update my parents on how my kid is doing and growing up. Its a photo sharing site as far as Im concerned
Good for you! I'm always tempted to do so, but then I hesitate.
I imagine the Halloween Village on my blog is developed slowly. All the pieces are expensive (sadly). I think you could buy things online. Funny enough, Knott's Berry Farm here in Orange County sells the stuff!
Congratulations on finally crossing that barrier man. Life must be weird without it however. I hope it lasts. Sometimes it's nearly impossible to stay off Facebook for me, I've tried and failed to permanently delete it many a times. Well done anyway buddy.
Congrats on becoming free of those clutches... I'm still stuck on it though I don't really have exact information on where am I or how to contact me. I'll probably close it once I contacted my ex gf and tell her to bring back my photo album that has my baby pictures on it. ( I kinda gave to her because I trusted and we were already together for more than a year then after that we broke up ( we lasted 1 year and six months ). Sorry for completely irrelevant post.
@all: Yeah, I know it's not deleted but deactivated. And, yeah, I know there's a chance I might be going back to using facebook one day. But the new changes have killed the joy for me. It used to be simple and that's why I loved it.
I would leave it, but it's good for keeping in contact with my university coursemates and it means I can plug my blog. Reading all the poorly spelt and idiotic status updates is pretty depressing though.
I used Facebook for about five minutes, it's not worth using to keep up with everyone, I could just call/text 'em, and I do not need to know what your are doing every five seconds.
I knw the feeling.. I did that once b4 joinng Fb. deleted my orkut account.. it was nice for a change :)

ReplyDeleteDunno, mate. It really is hard to keep up with people without it, but the late changes make me wanna kill myself. Timeline and such. -.-'

ReplyDeleteWas it the recent changes that made you decide to get rid of it? I know several friends that did because of that.
