As some of you may know, I live in a country where the education doesn't come for free, but when I found out that my "bill" for this semester would be one average paycheck, I was a wee bit surprised, to say the least. -.-'
Sorry to hear about that man. Just keep your head held up and work hard to justify the expenses, if you can afford this thing. Hope it all works out for you buddy, we need to pay for fees over here but we get a loan that doesn't require payment until you're in a £15,000 a year job so I don't know if loaning would be easy for you or not.
come to my country bro. Education here is mostly free but it sucks hard. So dont complain about the educational system in your country. Many people from my country would do anything to have what you are having now.
@Linux that wouldn't surprise me about Vietnam's anything.
When it comes to the free world, the only countries where college is cheap/free is the Nordic countries and they have decent schools from what I hear. Finland got ranked best in education in the world.
That's definitely depressing. My bachelor's and master's degrees were definitely expensive and it feels so good now to finally be making headway into paying off my loans! Next, we tackle paying off husband's law school loans!
I would be too, man. Sorry to hear.
ReplyDeleteyikes.
ReplyDeletedude, your lucky! a single 15 unit semester for me is close to 2.5 paychecks, plus another half pay check for books.
ReplyDeleteWow geeze. I really don't know what to say.
ReplyDeleteSame thing in my country. D:
ReplyDeleteSame in my country. Where are you?
ReplyDeleteEducation should be free..and if not at least affordable. sigh
ReplyDeleteOh wow :| that sounds expensive. You can always corrupt the rector with some bottles of whine ;)
ReplyDeleteIf that's your school on the pic, then it looks awesome!
ReplyDeletewell good education costs, doesnt matter where you live. I could have bought a huge house with all that money I paid for my education.

ReplyDeleteo0o0o crap! it could be worse though ^^ keep strutin your stuff!
ReplyDeleteAre you on a payment plan?
ReplyDeleteIt's free in my country, I suppose I just got lucky. Hope you'll be fine, maybe fit in another job? Or parents could help..
ReplyDeleteOuch. Paying for school blows :(
ReplyDeleteeep! Sorry to hear that. Getting a bill is always a downer.
ReplyDeleteI find it ridiculous how education is something that most people in this world still have to pay for. Information and education should be free.

Here education is free if you pass all exams in time, if not, you pay, a lot.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that. I was lucky that my mom invested on an educational plan for me.
ReplyDeleteSeems like the sort of thing you should have known about before you started taking classes.
ReplyDeleteI feel bad for you.
ReplyDeleteHope everything turns out alright! My education was expensive as well! It was rough for a while...but totally worth it in the end!

That sucks big time. Maybe you could join my pipe fixing army and make some extra cash to pay for it.
ReplyDeleteIn my book that's a good thing. Unless you are making a lot more than I think you are...in which case it shouldn't that big of a deal either haha
ReplyDeleteI sure hope the education you're getting is worth the money you're paying. That sucks. :(
ReplyDeletethat sucks S:
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear. That's a nice pic though!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it sucks but it could be worse. Just think of how much cash students at Harvard fork over...
ReplyDeleteEducation is often expensive!
ReplyDelete@all: I thought I was the only one, but now I see that it's a problem in other countries, too. Education should be free. :S
